Blog Post #2 - Summary of one reading from Units 1-4

Although we will not be spending much time with the first part of the book, please choose one of the readings from Units 1-4. You should write a short summary of the reading passage. You may also choose to share some of your opinions and reactions to the readings. Posts should be a minimum of one paragraph, but feel free to write as much as you'd like. Remember, these are your blogs.

Here are the options for the reading passages. Again, just choose one (although you are certainly welcome to read more):

7. Unit 4, Lesson A: "Coping in a World of Risk" (pp. 73-75)
8. Unit 4, Lesson B: Yellowstone's Smoking Bomb" (p. 80-84) 

Summaries should be uploaded to your blogs before class on 9/16.
